It has always been my dream to see celebrities use their talent, to influence positive action in the real world about social issues that better our planet.

My dream is becoming a reality, and I’m thrilled.

Actor Ed Norton is the U.S. official ambassador for Earth Hour 2009. For those of you who haven’t heard, Earth Hour 2009 is a worldwide symbolic event on March 28 2009 , when everyone participating, turns out their lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time. (Local time, wherever you are)

This global effort hopefully will encourage our political leaders to take more action on the global warming effect, that is afflicting our lovely planet.

So here it is,  a fabulous opportunity to have a candlelight dinner, with friends and family and honor the planet that so graciously has given us hospitality.
