This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for the Designed By Hollywood website (the “Site”).  Designed By Hollywood (“us” “we” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy online.  Please read the following carefully to learn what information we collect from you (“you”) and how we use that information. We will not sell or disclose your name, email address or other personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this policy.

As a Designed By Hollywood member you are required to provide a valid email address at registration and choose a username or alias that may represent your identity on the Site.

Depending on which services you choose to use, we may require additional information, such as a seller/shop name, billing and payment information (including billing address, telephone number, credit card information), a telephone number, and/or a physical mailing address Credit card information on an account may be stored and used for both billing and payment purposes. We may contact individual shop owners to confidentially request more information about their background, shop, or items listed on the Site, to ensure compliance with our rules.

You may optionally choose to provide your full name and other personal information (such as birthday, gender, location) to be publicly displayed in connection to your account and activity.

Your username, ID or alias may be publicly displayed and connected to your Designed By Hollywood activity. It may be possible for other people to see your date joined, feedback, ratings, profile information, items listed for sale, shop pages,  BIO Page, sold item listings, and comments in community spaces.

We automatically receive and record some information from your browser when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, cookies and data about which pages you visit on the Site through the use of log files provided by third-party partners. This information helps us to provide a personalized experience for, and to analyze and understand how the Site works, for members and users.

Some members or users may connect to or register an account using an external third-party application, such as Facebook. We may receive some data from those connected third-party applications. Connecting your Designed By Hollywood account to third-party applications or services is optional, and when you connect your account to an external app, you will be given the opportunity to grant permission. You can revoke your permission in your Designed By Hollywood account settings 

We may receive or collect information (for example: email address) about a person who is not yet a registered member (a “non-member”)  in connection with certain Designed By Hollywood features, including but not limited to: a non-member subscribing to our newsletter, a member inviting a non-member to visit the Site, a non-member engaging in a transaction, or a member sending a gift card code to a non-member. Non-member information is used only for the purpose it was originally submitted to us. A non-member can contact us at if they do not want us to retain their information.


We use the information described in this policy to provide and improve our services and products, for billing and payments, for identification and authentication purposes, to contact members or interested parties, and for general research and aggregate reporting. 

Our Terms require our users to be at least 18 years of age (or have the permission and supervision of a responsible parent or legal guardian), therefore, this policy does not discuss use of the Site or services by minors.

You may change or correct your Designed By Hollywood account information (except your username). You may remove certain optional information you no longer wish to be publicly visible, such as your full name.

For various reasons, we may contact you about our services or your activity. Some of these messages are required, service-related messages for members.  Other messages are not required, and you can control which optional messages you choose to receive by changing your settings in your account.   

Primarily, messages are delivered by email, and every account is required to keep a valid email address on file to receive messages. In some situations, we may contact you by telephone, SMS message or physical mail in order to provide you with information about products and features you may find of interest or to provide you with customer support. You may update your contact preferences in your account settings.

Some messages from us are service-related and required for members. Examples of service-related messages include, but are not limited to: a welcome/confirmation 

email when you register your account, notification of an order, or correspondence with our support team. These messages are not promotional in nature. You may not opt-out of receiving service-related messages unless you close your account.

As a member, we may also send you messages related to certain features on the Site or your activity.  We may also send you news or updates about changes to our Site or services.  Members will receive these messages via email, however you may choose to opt-out of getting certain emails under your account settings.

We also offer optional email newsletters. You must opt-in or subscribe to begin receiving newsletters, and subscription is available to both members and non-members. Members may subscribe or unsubscribe from optional newsletters under your account settings or by following the instructions contained in the newsletter   emails. Non-members may subscribe by providing an email address, which will only be used by us for these newsletters. Non-members may unsubscribe from newsletters by following the instructions contained in the newsletter emails.

If you have optionally connected your account to an external, third-party application, such as Facebook, you can remove permission for the app by changing your account settings.

If you no longer wish to use our services or receive service-related messages, then you may contact support and request to close your account.


We respect your privacy. We will not sell or disclose your name, email address or other personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this policy.

As part of a purchase on our Site, we will share information between the two users involved in the transaction. You may obtain another member's email address, shipping address, payment information, and/or other information.  You have a limited license to use this information only for Designed By Hollywood-related communications or for Designed By Hollywood-facilitated transactions. We have not granted you a license to use the information for unsolicited commercial messages. Without express consent from that person, you must not add any member to your email or physical mailing list.

We may release your personal information to a third-party in order comply with a subpoena or other similar legal procedure, or when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law; prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or investigate or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or violations our Terms.  We may disclose personally identifiable information as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity. In such events, we may disclose name, address, country, phone number, email address and company name.

We may be affiliated with trusted third party businesses with which we may share some information. These businesses may offer promotions or sell items or services to you through our services. We may also provide services or sell products jointly with affiliated businesses. When an affiliated business is associated with your transaction, we may share with them information that is related to such transaction.  We may also share aggregated demographic information with business partners.

We may employ third parties to perform tasks on our behalf, and we may need to share your information with them to provide products and services to you. Examples include but are not limited to fulfilling orders, processing payments, handling billing disputes and collections, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance and providing customer service. We may partner with third-party services for fraud prevention and/or identity verification.

In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets and in this process member information may be transferred.  We will transfer your information if we are acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, we will notify you by email or by putting a prominent notice on the Site before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

When you a load a page on the Site via a third party social networking platform or that has a social plug-in from a third-party site or service, such as a “Like” or “Send” button, you are also loading content from that third-party website. That website may request cookies directly from your browser. These interactions are subject to the privacy policy of the third-party site.

This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, or individuals that we do not employ or manage. If you provide your information to others on the Site or throughout the Internet, different rules may apply to the use or disclosure of the information you provide to them. We do not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from the Site. Designed By Hollywood offers features on the Site that allow users to communicate in public or semi-public spaces, such as by posting comments to our Blog, product pages, bio pages and collections.  Please use common sense and good judgment when posting or sharing your personal information with others on the Site. Be 

aware that any personal information you submit in a public or semi-public space can be read, collected, or used by others, or could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We generally do not remove content from community spaces, and your posts may remain public after your account is closed. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to post in community spaces on the Site.



To facilitate and customize your experience with the Site, we store cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes which contains information about that user. We use cookies to save you time while using the Site, remind us who you are, and track and target user interests in order to provide a customized experience. Cookies also allow us to collect non-personally identifiable information from you, like which pages you visited and what links you clicked on. Use of this information helps us to create a more user-friendly experience for all visitors. In addition, we may use third party advertising companies to display advertisements on our Site. Other Tracking Devices

We may use other industry standard technologies like pixel tags and web beacons to track your use of our Site pages and promotions, or we may allow third parties to use these devices on our behalf. Pixel tags and web beacons are tiny graphic images placed on certain pages on our Site, or in our emails that allow us to determine whether you have performed a specific action. When you access these pages or open or click an email, pixel tags and web beacons generate a non-personally identifiable notice of that action. Pixel tags allow us to measure and improve our understanding of visitor traffic and behavior on our Site, as well as give us a way to measure our promotions and performance.
