An amazing book came out called ” The Monuments Men” by Robert Edsel. This is the most amazing story about the greatest art treasure hunt in history.
Can you imagine a world without DaVinci and Michelangelo?
As a Costume Designer, I don’t know where we would be if we didn’t have all that art. A vast amount of our work is based on the research we do from paintings, sculptures, etchings, manuscripts etc..
My gratitude goes to those courageous men.
For all of those art lovers out there, this is a must read.
